What a beautiful birth I had the privilege to support a few days ago! Obviously the last one of 2023...
Second time together. This time the mother really wanted to give birth naturally (without interventions, including without any epidural).
Less than 2 hours in Sheba and the little princess (not that tiny – 3.715kg) was on the mom's tummy. So much excitement and emotions in such a short while...
However, things have not always been that simple. At week 33, this little girl was in breech. The mom started to do various exercises of Spinning Babies in an intensive manner according to the protocol of Rachel Shapiro. But this baby needed more attention. The mom did Equilibrio treatment which was not enough for this baby. Finally, the mom did an ECV (external cephalic version) with the amazing Dr. Ariel Gimple at Ichilov, which did succeed! What an immense joy for this couple!
This exceptional birth would not have been possible without the mom's strong determination and perseverance and the intimate belief that her daughter would eventually flip over to the vertex position. And this special birth would not have been possible without the love of your partner who supported you all the way.
What a brave mama you are! You are very strong and no obstacle can prevent you to fulfill your dreams.
