Dr. Gabriela Binder - Lets talk about the Darkness Monster I was born in Bucharest, Romania and studied there at the Faculty of Pediatrics.

Since 1986, I have lived and worked as a child and adolescent psychiatrist in Israel. After thirty years of treating children and adolescents who cope with mental disorders, Drawing on the real-life stories of eleven young patients and their parents, Dr. Gabriela Binder reveals the mystery of the special bond with the child psychiatrist, which is the foundation of compassionate and effective treatment. They are all partners in writing, aiming to demystify and destigmatize mental illness in children and adolescents by dispelling darkness, fear and prejudice.
