NorthMed Innovation Center mission is to empower Arab entrepreneurs in Israel focusing on MedTech and Digital Health.

NortMed Innovation Center offers entrepreneurship training and mentoring programs to local entrepreneurs, providing a holistic environment and professional advice. In addition, it will promote placement of technological personnel with an emphasis on integrating employees and entrepreneurs from the Arab society into companies in the fields of medical devices, digital health and software. Our missio

n is to increase development and investment in entrepreneurship in peripheral areas and we strive to balance the representation of Arab society in the life science, medical device and technology sectors. The Innovation Center, alongside the MEDX Accelerator and Incubator create a unique ecosystem which aims to stimulate change from within. By working closely with our partners, we work on identifying local talent, to provide the required support to transform ideas into successful companies. Our employment center will train and place skilled employees in high-demand Med-Tech and technology professions, with the aim to facilitate the opening of local branches in the Sakhnin Valley. NorthMed is paving the road for the Arab community to the digital health industry. We help do that by cooperating with highly reputable health researchers and provide the entrepreneurs with access to data and connecting with strategics partners.

🚀 Another inspiring session of ! 🚀

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting 60 participants at NorthMed Innovation Center for an engaging and insightful session titled:

"Navigating Tomorrow: Engineering the Future of AI" 🦾🤖

The event brought together talented AI experts, tech pioneers, and professionals for an evening of inspiration, discussion, and innovation.

🚀 Empowering MedTech Entrepreneurs at NorthMed Innovation Center! 🚀

Earlier this week, we had the privilege of hosting the second cohort of FLIP - the French Hospital Leadership and Innovation Program, designed to inspire medical teams from diverse disciplines to engage in healthcare innovation.
The event featured three insightful sessions led by NorthMed’s leadership team:
🔹 Annie Kaufman, CEO of NorthMed, opened the event with inspiring remarks and an overview of our mission.
🔹 Dr. Rami Shinawi, CTO of NorthMed, shared his journey as a physician-entrepreneur, offering valuable insights into medical innovation.
🔹 Samer Abboud, Entrepreneur and CEO of a medical startup, led a thought-provoking session on evaluating and validating MedTech startup ideas.

One of the major highlights of the day was the entrepreneurial panel, where we had the honor of learning from two outstanding innovators:
💡 Waseem Geraisy, CEO of SORLIS, who is developing an autonomous early detection system for pressure ulcers, revolutionizing patient care.
💡 Dr. Dima Ghannam-Shahbari, CEO of UB Therapeutics, who is pioneering novel cyclic peptide therapies for multiple myeloma, offering new hope for patients.

A huge shoutout to Waseem and Dima for sharing their journeys, challenges, and invaluable insights with our community! Your dedication and innovative spirit are truly inspiring, and we deeply appreciate your time and contributions.

🌟 Celebrating Innovation and Collaboration at NorthPitch! 🌟

Yesterday, we had the honor of hosting an incredible event organized by the NorthMed team: NorthPitch. This remarkable gathering brought together a diverse and vibrant ecosystem of entrepreneurs, investors, subject matter experts, and industry leaders. The focus? Showcasing the future of medical device innovation.

The event opened with inspiring remarks from Mrs. Annie Kaufman, NorthMed's CEO, who passionately shared our vision and mission to nurture entrepreneurial spirit in the North, with a special emphasis on empowering the Arab community. Following her, Mr. Rami Schwartz, Chairman of the Board, reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of our board to NorthMed's goals.

Eight innovative companies then took center stage, pitching groundbreaking medical device technologies in two dynamic sessions. The day was a testament to the power of collaboration, the strength of our network, and the immense potential within this unique region and audience.
