Yesterday morning, an event held at the President's Residence brought a much-needed sense of light and optimism regarding the complexity of our situation in Israel over the past year, particularly concerning the mental health support for the tens of thousands of individuals affected by the ongoing War.

The focus of the event was the integration of AI into the field of mental health care in Israel. We had the privilege of presenting the technological innovation of Wellplay, which, alongside three other companies, was selected by the Innovation Authority, the Ministry of Health, and the ‘Tkumah’ initiative to develop and deliver a technological solution that addresses the immense challenges faced by the mental health system. Specifically, our solution targets the unique needs of the Haifa and Western Galilee district within Clalit Health Services.

Alongside us, other powerful and inspiring solutions were presented. While it's true that the mental health system is navigating one of its most difficult and challenging periods, yesterday’s event clearly demonstrated the remarkable collaboration between stakeholders, the creativity, and the tremendous effort to provide innovative and effective solutions.

The final part of the delegation concluded today at one of the three largest innovation hubs in the world—Bangalore, in the state of Karnataka in southern India. The meeting was attended by over 120 global companies, research and development centers, and stakeholders in the clinical field. The discussions were fascinating, and there was significant interest in the delegation's solutions in the fields of medicine and mental health. Moreover, many parallels were identified between the challenges faced by Israelis and those faced by Indians in terms of mental health. We are confident that this is just the beginning of meaningful collaborations.

The official meeting, held at the ambassador's residence, included representatives from government, Indian companies, and Israeli companies. This gathering sparked exciting and valuable connections with local players realising Wellplay’s potential in a global scale. We look forward to exploring collaboration opportunities together💪🔆

Wellplay is honored to represent Israel as part of the I4F delegation to India, organized by the Israel Innovation Authority.

During this visit, we are set to engage with over 100 organizations spanning government bodies, academic research institutions, technology companies, venture capital firms, and healthcare providers.

This is an incredible privilege and a unique opportunity to forge new collaborations with a shared goal: making mental health support smart, effective, and accessible to anyone in need of immediate assistance.

We look forward to sharing updates and insights from this inspiring journey as we continue working towards a world with better mental health solutions for all.

Next Monday, a highly significant meetup will take place at the Ichilov Medical Center, in collaboration with IMIL - Israel Med Innovation Lab and Ichilov Well. איכילוב - המרכז הרפואי ת״א
The meetup will focus on the implementation of technological solutions in public mental health services.
You are invited to register via the link and participate in this event, which once again places the issues of treatment wait times and the increasing burden at the forefront.
During the event, Aviv Kushnir, the CEO of Wellplay, will present the story behind the platform's creation and its integration plans for the coming years.
