After my own explant surgery, rebuilding strength in my chest, arms, and upper back became a personal journey of healing — one that I now want to share with every woman walking a similar path.

What started as a few simple exercises that worked for me has evolved into a 20-page guide co-created with Dr. Randall Feingold. We wanted to help women truly understand what happens to the muscles during breast augmentation — and why reattachment and proper rehabilitation are so important after explant surgery.

You can’t restore the upper body without reconnecting with your core, your breath, and your inner strength. That’s why this guide brings it all together — education, mindful movement, and practical exercises to help you heal safely and regain confidence in your body.

This is just the first edition, and I would love to hear your feedback.

The pectoralis major lies under the breast tissue, separated by a layer of fat and fascia.
• During breast augmentation, this muscle is often partially dissected or lifted to place an implant beneath it — which can weaken or alter its natural function.
• After explant surgery, the muscle may need rehabilitation and re-education to regain its strength, elasticity, and full range of motion.

💪 Aesthetic & Functional Importance
• Healthy tone in the pectoralis major helps define the upper chest and arm contour, improving posture and shoulder stability.
• Post-surgery or after years of muscle disuse (as with implants), exercises like wall push-ups, chest flys, Pilates arm circles, and Yamuna body rolling are powerful for restoring balance and function.

This was me on the TV reality show Survivor in the Philippines — about a year after my breast augmentation. We were starving, exhausted, and you can see how thin I was. What I didn’t know then was that I already had a capsular contracture — inflammation around my implants — and my left shoulder was so restricted I couldn’t lift or push my arm. Later I learned that during breast augmentation, part of the pectoralis major muscle is dissected from the ribcage and attached to the arm bone. That surgical injury explained the weakness and pain I lived with for years.

Looking back now, I understand what my body was trying to tell me. I share this to help other women connect the dots between their symptoms, inflammation, and loss of strength — and to remind you that healing is possible. Today, I teach women how to rebuild their strength, posture, and vitality after explant surgery through movement, nutrition, and natural detox. It’s never too late to come home to your body.

⚠️ Resharing these shocking images of breast implants that were left too long to deteriorate inside the chest.
💔 Remember — breast implants are not lifetime devices.

According to the FDA, they should be monitored by MRI after 5 years and replaced or removed every 5–7 years to avoid silent rupture, leakage, or inflammation.

Your health and peace of mind matter more than aesthetics.
