Our Story
The only place for pure and authentic Ashtanga Yoga in Israel! Ashtanga Mysore classes for all levels are held six mornings a week in a charming and intimate studio in central Tel Aviv. Maya Gross Senior yoga teacher, with 20 years of experience in the fields of Yoga and Meditation. Founder of the "Ashtanga Yoga Tel Aviv" school (since 2004) and coordinator of Yoga Teacher Training courses. Maya's background combine different traditions and approaches of yoga and yoga therapy. She studied in Mysore with the late master Pattabhi Jois, his daughter Saraswati and the current Ashtanga Guru Sharath Jois , she’s also a student of Sharmila Desai (Goa-India) and Richard Freeman (Colorado) Maya is a certified "body wisdom" therapist, body wisdom is an integrative treatment method based on osteopathy. Maya delves into the Buddhist traditions, guides meditations, workshops and retreats in Israel and around the world.
