The Dream Doctors Project רופאי חלום Dedicated to improving patient wellbeing and the efficacy of healthcare through medical clowning.

The Dream Doctors Project is a unique non-profit organization that integrates professional medical clowns, ‘Dream Doctors’ into Israeli hospitals as members of medical teams. Dream Doctor’s research- proven methods demonstrate that medical clowns significantly improve the wellbeing of patients, alleviate anxiety and accelerate recovery. Today, 100 Dream Doctors work hand-in-hand with doctors and n

urses in 30 hospitals across Israel and assist in more than 40 different medical procedures. Dream Doctors provide specialized care to over 200, 000 child and adult patients evert year. They receive specialized training in crisis intervention and serve as military reservists in IDF humanitarian relief missions around the world. Dream Doctors also offer custom-made training to organizations around the world in a wide range of therapeutic settings. The project's trailblazing approach aims to promote medical clowning as an officially recognized paramedical profession.

צחוק וחמלה הם חלק מהחוסן האישי והלאומי שלנו.

גם הפעם, כמו בתקופות חירום קודמות, ליצני רופאי חלום פועלים בכל אזורי החירום שהוקמו בבתי החולים בישראל. בנוכחות קשובה, אנושית ואמפתית הם מביאים רגעים של נשימה, חיבור ותקווה בתוך מציאות מורכבת.

בכתבה נרחבת שפורסמה השבוע בעיתון Clarin – מהעיתונים הגדולים בדרום אמריקה, ריגש דוש David DuSH BarasHi אלפי קוראים כשסיפר על עבודתו של ליצן רפואי בזמן מלחמה.

הכתבה לוקחת את הקוראים אל תוך בית החולים התת־קרקעי והממוגן של הדסה עין כרם. בין קירות הבטון והמתח הביטחוני, דוש מזכיר לכולם שדווקא ברגעים כאלה- צחוק וחמלה הם המיגון החזק ביותר שיש לנו. 🛡️❤️🇮🇱

גאווה גדולה לראות איך השליחות של רופאי חלום חוצה יבשות ומגיעה עד ארגנטינה, ומראה לעולם את הפנים היפות והאנושיות של ישראל.

"ערב משפחתי כמו פעם". זו הייתה כל הבקשה של ליאור בן ה-10, בן דודו של גיבור ישראל סמ"ר איתי חן ז"ל, שהובא לקבורה אחרי 760 ימים בעזה, ימים של כאב וגעגוע.
אנחנו בעמותת רופאי חלום הקשבנו לבקשה הפשוטה והעמוקה הזו, והפכנו אותה לרגע אחד של יחד: סרט, ארוחה, כל בני הדודים סביב שולחן אחד. כמו לפני המלחמה.
לפעמים, מחווה קטנה מחזירה אור גדול של תקווה.
