After graduation in the Netherlands as therapist in medical kinetics (Cesar therapy) in 2009 I developed my experience as a practitioner and expanded my repertoire of therapeutic techniques while working as a therapi

st in several specialized clinics in Holland. In 2010 I established my own clinic in medical kinetic therapy. This method has similarities with physiotherapy, Feldenkrais, Alexander technique and Mindfulness. In 2013 I moved to Israel and I am now in the position to offer my medical kinetics therapy to patients in the greater Tel Aviv area. Most of the physical problems people experience like pain in foot, knees, hips, lower back, shoulders and neck, are directly related to their body posture or the way they move about. Long term and aggravating complaints can arise from systematically forcing the body in an unnatural position or from walking in a forced manner. My method is especially successful because in a personalized analysis we look beyond the symptoms of the complaint and direct the therapy to optimizing the posture and movement of the body. You learn to feel and understand where the complaint comes from and how to respond adequately to reduce the symptoms. Awareness and sensitivity of posture and movement play a central role in energizing your body and to live without complaints. In our daily life we do many things out of habit or because we were trained to do them a certain way. Without consciously thinking about our movements we move from here to there or we can sit in one spot for a while; studying, working, reading, surfing on internet, etc. Normally we should be able to do all these things without feeling any negative physical or mental impact. Our body gives us signals and we choose to respond to them or ignore them, all depending on the context of the moment. Most of the time when we feel a slight malaise, we respond unconsciously in the way that is adequate, e.g. Sometimes the complaint will go away after a good night rest. But occasionally, no matter what you do, it doesn't help. The pain stays, gets worse or it comes back after a few days/ weeks. This is the kind of problems I deal with. We analyze the problem by making a bigger picture and find the cause of the problem. These lay mostly in movement, posture or the materials we use (desks, chairs, shoes, etc.). Doing something slightly different can be a big improvement. Knowing where your problem comes from and correcting your posture accordingly will not only solve the pain, but prevent the pain from coming back in the long run. My medical kinetic method give you a sustainable result and allows you to live free from agonizing pain or continuous therapy session. We first treat the triggerpoint that causes the pain. The next step is to work on the posture or movement by mastering a few targeted exercises. Research has shown us that it takes at least 3 to 9 months for the average person to physically master a new posture or movement. This process of readjustment needs professional guidance. The intensity and the frequency of the sessions depend on the progress you make. Together we will boost your motivation as you experience the results of my method. I will customize your therapy program according to the specific situation you are in. Together we develop a personal leaning strategy to ensure a sustained effect after the conclusion of the therapy sessions. Some problems are more than just posture or movement related. Stress-related disorders are an indicator of a disturbed relationship between the conscious subject (mind) and his own living body. The 'state of stress' leads to ignoring the responses from the body and thus result in complications. My knowledge of stress management and breathing disorder enables me to successfully treat people with these kind of complaints. My program is designed to help people use self regulatory techniques and be more 'in touch' with his body. Next to working as a therapist my passion lies in sports. In the Netherlands I played as a goalkeeper on a high amateur level and at the same club I worked as a medical (fitness) trainer. I gave group sport sessions in various categories. Mainly (core)stability, balance, agility and relaxation. Important for me in a training schedule is to do it in responsible way. Stability is one of the first and most important factors in training. From there it is possible to progress your strength or speed in a functional way. Just like in my therapy we work with a plan prepared for your needs.
