"You are doing an incredible thing!"

This is what our CEO Lea Waisman-Shaler was told about her work at UPnRIDE during her recent interview with Israel's Channel 10.

Lea talked about the power behind UPnRIDE, which was born from founder Dr. Amit Goffer’s personal dream of standing again after his own hashtag .

UPnRIDE was designed to restore dignity, eye-level interaction, and true independence. With advanced stabilization, safe standing at the press of a button, and FDA/CE approvals, Lea described how our hashtag solution is already transforming lives – from individuals born with chronic conditions to war veterans injured on the frontlines. UPnRIDE users who were told they might never stand again are rising – literally and figuratively.

Lea explained:
“Clinically, standing reduces pressure sores, improves circulation, and significantly lowers the risk of infections like UTIs. But the psychological impact is just as powerful. When someone can stand at eye level with a friend, or sit at a bar and share a meal, their entire mindset shifts. They become more motivated – physically and mentally – to reengage with life.”

Traveling can be a very overwhelming experience, especially for passengers with assisted travel needs. By the time most get onto the plane, they are both physically and emotionally drained. Fortunately, the London Luton Airport (LLA) is aiming to make airport experiences much calmer for people with disabilities, starting with a brand new Assisted Travel Lounge that fits up to 50 travelers at once.

The lounge includes:
- Wheelchair and device charging stations
- Sensory space
- Reduced mobility designed seating
- Adult changing facilities

"After surgery for a rare disorder called Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS), Adi was told she’d never stand – let alone walk – again. In a very emotional and hard-earned moment, she surprised everyone.

With the help of UPnRIDE, her workout regimen, and unwavering determination, Adi regained strength, stretched muscles she hadn’t used in years, and took her first emotional steps surrounded by family and friends.

Adi said that UPnRIDE helps her stand, stretching and strengthening muscles she couldn’t before – opening the door to recovery and renewed independence.

Now, she’s setting her sights on her next goal: a half marathon. And knowing Adi, we have no doubt she’ll get there!

Meet Netanel Felber.

While defending his country, Netanel sustained severe injuries that left him with life-changing disabilities. His path forward was filled with challenges -- but not without hope.

With UPnRIDE, Netanel regained something essential: mobility on his own terms. Today, he can sit, stand, and move freely, experiencing independence, dignity, and connection at eye level once again.

Netanel's mother, Judi Felber said: ""When he sits in a wheelchair, we all look down on him and say 'Poor, Netanel.' But when he stands up, it's amazing to watch him. He just smiles and has such confidence. I think this is going to change his life.""
