🏸 Honoured to share the stage with India’s badminton legend l at the Yonex–Sunrise All India Masters Ranking Badminton Tournament, Agra — truly an inspiring experience.
My sincere appreciation to Dr Beena Lawania (President, Badminton Association Agra) and Dr. R. P. Singh (Director of Sports, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh) for their leadership and continued support in promoting sports and youth development.
Seeing young players on court was a powerful reminder of how important sports is in shaping not just athletes, but healthy individuals.
Today, many children are growing up with limited physical activity due to increased screen time and sedentary lifestyles. As a doctor, I regularly witness its impact — reduced stamina, poor posture, rising obesity, weaker immunity, and increasing stress levels even at a young age.
Sports is more than recreation — it is preventive healthcare.
Regular physical activity helps children develop:
✅ Strong muscles & bones
✅ Better concentration and confidence
✅ Emotional balance and discipline
✅ Healthy lifestyle habits for life
Parents play a crucial role. Encourage outdoor play, limit screen time, ensure balanced nutrition and proper sleep — and most importantly, lead by example.
Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Sudharma Singh, Mr. Mahesh Nautiyal, Vinod Seetlani, Rahul Paliwal, Asif Ali, Pavan Mangal, Luv Goyal, Nandi Rawat, and the entire Badminton Association Agra team for their dedication and warm hospitality in making this wonderful sporting event possible. 🙏
Let’s help our children discover the joy of movement, the power of teamwork, and the confidence that comes from staying active. A healthy childhood lays the foundation for a healthier society.
Grateful to be part of an event that celebrates youth, fitness, and the true spirit of sport.
