61 years old male patient came to opd of pulmonary medicine department, SVP Hospital with history of foreign body aspiration before around 1.5 years ago.

Patient having complain of chest pain and cough since 10 days.

Chest xray and hrct thorax s/o around 35*5 mm well define foreign body present on medial basal segment of right lower lobe.

Patient is carpenter by occupation.

Co-morbidity- hypertension + diabetes + hypothyroidism on irregular treatment.

Bronchoscopy done on 22/4/2022.

With the help of flexible bronchoscope procedure was done.attempts was made up with tooth foreceps under fluroscopy guidance.

It was difficult to remove foreign body from 8.5 sized endotracheal tube as it is located in subsegmental bronchus.

Finally foreign body (metal pin) was removed with tooth foreceps.

Procedure was done by Pulmonary Medicine department, SVP Hospital with support of anaesthesia team.
