Vaikuntha Yoga Shala is finally hosting yoga retreats in Rishikesh.

The yoga retreat is carefully curated to “Rediscover Self”

- Care seekers who are looking forward to do some inner work

- Those who are looking forward to heal and work upon wounds.

📝: How is the Yoga Retreat planned?

- It is divided into Five days. Each day is dedicated to an element of nature.

- Day01: Prithvi Taatva 🌎
Yogic practices dedicated to the element earth along with forest bathing, walk in the woods and visiting jungle on foot 🥾

- Day02: Jaal Taatva 🌊
Ganga bathing rituals followed by Ganga Aarti at the ashram.

- Day03: Agni Taatva 🔥
Specially organised Mahamrityunjay havan ceremony to upsurge the energy

- Day04: Vaayu Taatva 🌬️
Hike upto ancient Devi temple followed by chanting rituals

- Day05: Aakash Taatva 🌌
Visiting ancient cave and meditating inside.

We have arranged dual occupancy stay at an ashram in Rishikesh on the banks of river Ganga. All rooms are facing the holy river and the Himalayas.

But try to remind self;

“ This too shall pass.. “

Time does pass and in the end what remains is lessons learned… ⏳

It’s okay to feel sad, sorrowful, grieving but being present in those moments will let them pass with much dignity rather than stooping down to the other’s levels…

At times just being present in here and now can make one stronger and more human…

1) Uttanasana: Standing forward fold. To remove gas and bloating. Improves digestion. Aids in relieving back stiffness.

2) Ushtrasana: Camels back pose. Helps in opening chest. Removes chest congestion. Works wonders for depression.

3) Viparitkarni: Legs up the wall. Must do for working professionals. Aids in venous return and a boon for varicose veins.

4) Anuloma Viloma: A pranayama which has the power to lower down stress.
