Sometimes the safest surgery is the one we pause. ✅
In laser stone surgery, if the ureter (urine pipe) is too tight, forcing instruments can tear or damage it — and that can become a serious complication.

That’s why we do a 2-stage approach:
Stage 1: Place a DJ stent to let the ureter passively dilate over ~2 weeks
Stage 2: Perform the laser surgery smoothly & safely

Safety first. Always. 🙌

Not every kidney stone surgery is the same.
Options like RIRS, PCNL, and Laser (CL) depend on the size and location of the stone. ✨

The most uncomfortable part of stone surgery is often the DJ stent — but sometimes, it’s necessary.
In tight ureters, swelling, or infection risk, a stent protects the kidney and ensures safe recovery.
In simple cases, it may not be needed.

That’s why stent placement depends on intra-operative findings.
Trust your doctor. Safety always comes first.

A very common question patients ask is:
“During prostate cancer treatment, how long will I be away from work?”

Here’s the clear answer 👇
• Surgical treatment: Hospital stay is usually 2–3 days. A catheter is kept temporarily.
• Most patients can start light routine work in 3–4 days.
• Full office or routine job can usually be resumed in about 14 days.

• Radiation therapy: This is mostly an outpatient (office-based) treatment.
Patients can often continue their routine work during treatment, with minimal lifestyle disruption.

👉 The key takeaway: Prostate cancer treatment does not mean putting life on long pause.
With early detection and the right treatment approach, recovery is faster and results are better.

Always tired?
Stop blaming stress by default.

Chronic fatigue isn’t always about work pressure or poor sleep hygiene.
In many men, the real issue starts below the belt.

Urinary infections, prostate enlargement, or bladder irritation quietly:
• Break your sleep
• Drain your energy
• Lower daytime focus and stamina

And no this doesn’t only happen to “old age.”

🚨 Nearly 1 in 3 men over 40 with ongoing fatigue have an underlying urinary health issue.

If you’re waking up often to urinate, struggling with weak flow, or feeling exhausted despite rest
that’s a medical signal, not laziness.

Don’t guess.
Don’t self-diagnose.
Test and treat early.

Winter doesn’t just chill your bones —
it silently affects your kidneys too.

In cold weather:
• We drink less water
• Dehydration increases
• Kidney stones form faster
• UTIs become more common

📊 Did you know?
Urinary stone cases rise by 15–20% in winter, and most people ignore the signs until pain strikes.

⚠️ Don’t miss early warnings:
• Cloudy or foul-smelling urine
• Lower back or side pain
• Frequent but incomplete urination

💧 Simple steps can protect your kidneys:
Drink more water.
Get tested early.
Don’t let winter freeze your kidney health.
