TEXT NECK !!!
This is a phrase we use to describe the terrible posture & recipe for chronic pain that is looking down at your phone 📲📱💻🖥⌨️.
Phones have become a part of daily life that takes more & more of our attention. And typically,you pull your phone from your pocket & look down at it to check your socials, respond to email or text .
On an average a person checks his phone a little over 340 times per day. That's once like every 4 & a half minutes. ‼️
So 300 + times per day, a person pulling out the phone looking down momentary strain on the neck . This posture adds weight tension to the neck. Who wants that much tension on neck?? It may only be for second, but multiply that by 340 times every day& that begins to add up.
What it adds up to,is CHRONIC PAIN caused by ADHESION!!
TO help combat this ,bring the phone up to your face instead of your face down to your phone. It will take a little to get used to but you will eventually develop it as a habit, & your neck will thank you for it, as will your reduction in headaches!!
