Better to be sore than sorry.
That mild soreness you feel after exercise is often a sign that your body is adapting, getting stronger, and becoming more resilient. Movement challenges muscles, joints, and the nervous system, helping them work better together. While soreness can feel uncomfortable, it usually means you are stimulating growth and improving fitness. Avoiding activity may feel easier in the moment, but inactivity weakens the body over time and increases the risk of pain, stiffness, and injury. Regular exercise keeps the body mobile, strong, and healthy. So embrace the temporary soreness—it’s a small price to pay for long-term strength, mobility, and well-being.
