Physio can now use DR. 🧑‍⚕️ With reference to D.O. Letter No. 2.28017/91/2025-SAS-III (FTS. 8356966) concerning the use of the prefix “Dr.” and the suffix “PT” by Physiotherapists in India, it is informed that subsequent representations have been received on this matter which necessitate further examination and deliberation. Accordingly, the aforesaid D.O. letter stands withdrawn pending detailed review.

*This positive development has been possible due to the strong and consistent advocacy of NCAHP.
