With profound grief, we announce the passing of our beloved Shri. Mitendra Dhruva , Founder of Chandan Optical Industries - Manufacturer of Spectacle Frames , who left for his heavenly abode on 2nd September 2025.
He will be deeply missed by innumerable lives he touched with his kindness, guidance, and everlasting smile.
Born into responsibility at a young age after the loss of his father Shashikantbhai Dhruva, he became the strongest pillar of support for his family. As the eldest among his brothers – Shri Manish Dhruva , Shri Bharat Dhruva , and Shri Vimal Dhruva – he dedicated his entire life to family, friends, and business.
In 1985, he co-founded Chandan Optical Industries – an Acetate Eyewear Factory – with his brothers. Under his leadership, vision, and unwavering willpower, the company flourished from a small manufacturing setup into a reputed enterprise with 3 manufacturing units and 2 wholesale distribution facilities.
His knowledge, discipline, and values continue to inspire the second generation – his sons and nephews – whom he mentored with immense dedication.
Shri Mitendra Dhruva’s aura, working style, and social relationships left a mark on everyone he met. His humility and generosity made him beloved not only by his business associates and customers but also by factory workers and friends. He believed in building business with trust, sincerity, and family-like bonds, leaving behind a legacy of ethics and relationships.
He worked tirelessly until his last breath – for his family, his people, and the business he nurtured. His willpower, determination, and life lessons will remain our guiding light forever.
We, at Chandan Optical Industries, along with the entire Dhruva family, bow our heads in homage (श्रद्धांजलि) to our beloved Founder, Guide, and Mentor.
As followers of Jainism, we pray that his noble soul finds eternal peace and attains Moksha.
