A meaningful initiative created with one heartfelt purpose - to celebrate the courage, strength and fighting spirit of our cancer fighters.
We believe that fighting cancer is not just about completing treatment, but about rediscovering confidence, emotional strength and a joyful connection with life. SAMVAAD 2.0 was thoughtfully organised to offer our fighters a platform to share their stories, build meaningful connections and continue their healing journey together.
The special sessions titled “Food & Mood - Ayurvedic & Indian Composition” by Dr Kedar Upadhyay and “Yoga in Daily Life” by Dr Vivek Maheshwari offered practical and gentle guidance for enhancing emotional balance, resilience, and overall wellness in daily life after cancer.
Our Talk & Walk activity beautifully reflected the true spirit of SAMVAAD 2.0 - relaxed conversations, shared smiles and meaningful connections, reminding every fighter that they are never alone on this journey.
The event also beautifully portrayed how a treating surgeon’s role extends far beyond the operating room
- evolving into that of a mentor, a guide and a source of strength.
It was clearly reflected in the heartfelt bond shared between Dr Somesh Chandra, his team and our cancer fighters.
SAMVAAD 2.0 stands as a tribute to every fighter’s bravery, their unbreakable spirit and their inspiring journey towards a healthier and happier life.

Line of Treatment for URTI / Viral Fever / Flu
1. Stay Home & Rest
• Isolate yourself if possible, especially from elderly, children, or immunocompromised individuals.
2. Cover Your Coughs and Sneezes
• Use a tissue or your napkin while coughing/sneezing.
3. Wash Hands Frequently
• Use soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
• If unavailable, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
4. Take Symptomatic Treatment
• Warm saline gargles or lozenges for sore throat.
• Consult a doctor if symptoms worsen or persist.
5. Get Plenty of Sleep
• Adequate rest helps boost immunity.
• Maintain a regular sleep routine to support faster recovery.
6. Avoid Close Contact
• Refrain from handshakes, hugs, and sharing utensils.
• Maintain safe distance from others.
7. Stay Hydrated
• Drink sufficient water, warm fluids, soups, or herbal teas.
• Hydration helps in flushing out toxins and easing throat irritation.
8. Maintain Nutrition

Why? Because every Upper Respiratory Infection (URTI) gives your immune system a workout. Mild infections train the body to fight germs and, over time, help in strengthening your immunity.

Symptoms of URTI (Upper Respiratory Tract Infection):
1. URTI often begins with a runny or blocked nose.
2. Sore throat is a common early symptom.
3. Patients may complain of headache and body aches.
4. Mild fever can be present in many cases.
5. Sneezing and coughing are frequent symptoms.
6. Nasal congestion makes breathing uncomfortable.
7. Fatigue and general weakness are commonly reported.
8. Some patients may lose their sense of taste or smell.
9. Hoarseness of voice can also occur.
