This traditional winter delicacy comes with a healthy twist — no sugar added! Packed with gond (edible gum), nutritious nuts, and natural sweetness from dates, this treat is delicious, wholesome, and perfect for boosting immunity during the colder months.
A must-try vrat recipe by

Recipe:
In a kadhai, take 4 tbsp ghee.
Once heated, fry 1/4 cup edible gond on a low to medium flame.
It will take approximately 10 minutes.
Remove from heat, let it cool, and coarsely pound it.
In the same kadhai, add 2 tsp ghee and roast 1 cup mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios).
Once mildly roasted, add 1/4 cup dry shredded coconut (optional) and 2 tbsp poppy seeds (khas khas).
Mix well, turn off heat, and let the mixture cool.
Coarsely chop the nut mixture (pulse in a mixer if preferred).
Mix the chopped nuts into the gond and add 2 tbsp dried ginger powder, 1 tsp elaichi powder, 1/2 tsp nutmeg (jaifal) powder. You may also add ganthoda (peeprimul) powder.
Combine everything well and keep aside.
In a kadhai, add 2 tsp ghee and 400 g deseeded dates.
Cook on medium flame until soft.
Add the gond–nut mixture into the softened dates and mix well (takes time).
Set the mixture in a greased tray and cut into pieces once cooled.
Stays fresh for a month in an airtight container at room temperature.

Black Chana Soup Recipe 🥣✨
A wholesome, comforting bowl packed with protein, fibre, and winter warmth — all without maida or cornflour!

Ingredients:
Yellow butter • Oil • Garlic • Onion • Beans • Carrot • Cauliflower • Spring onion • Capsicum • Broccoli (optional) • Freshly roasted cumin & pepper • Boiled black chana • Chana water • Cinnamon stick • Black cardamom • Salt • Coriander • Paneer

How to Make:
Heat butter and a little oil in a pan.
Add garlic, onion, and all chopped vegetables. Sauté until slightly soft.
Crush freshly roasted cumin and black pepper; add to the pan for flavour.
Pour in the hot chana water and add boiled black chana (cooked earlier with cinnamon, black cardamom & salt).
Let everything simmer for 10–15 minutes.
Finish with fresh coriander and finely chopped paneer.
Stir well and serve piping hot.

Edamame Sweet Potato Bowl 🥗💚

A vibrant, nourishing, high-protein bowl — fresh flavours, wholesome ingredients, and a perfect balance of sweet, creamy & zesty goodness by ✨

Ingredients (2 Servings)
🍠 Sweet Potatoes – 2 medium, roasted & naturally sweet
🟢 Edamame – 1.5 cups, thawed
🥭 Mango – 1 cup, chopped
🥒 Cucumber – 1 medium, finely chopped
🧅 Pickled Onions – ¼ cup, finely chopped
🌿 Cilantro – ½ cup, finely chopped
🌶️ Jalapeño – ½, finely chopped
🌰 H**p Seeds – 2 tbsp
🍋 Lime Juice – 1 tbsp
🧂 Cumin & Sea Salt – 1 tsp cumin + ¼ tsp sea salt
🥑 Avocado – ½, sliced
🌱 Broccoli Sprouts – small handful (1 oz)

How to Make:
1️⃣ Slice sweet potatoes, roast cut-side down at 400°F (200°C) until tender & caramelised.
2️⃣ Mix edamame, mango, cucumber, cilantro, jalapeño, h**p seeds, pickled onions, lime, cumin & salt.
3️⃣ Flip roasted sweet potatoes & gently mash the centres.
4️⃣ Top with the fresh edamame mix + avocado slices & sprouts.
✨ A colourful, satisfying bowl ready to enjoy!

💪 Add extra edamame or a high-protein yoghurt sauce for a protein boost
