Human performance is not entirely based on the skill or knowledge, but is based on the state of mind which determines the amount of utilization of that knowledge and skill for a given task. And the state of mind is directly influenced by the environment, situations and the past experiences of humans which can become a hindrance at times and can affect the performance adversely. The skill and knowledge of that individual is directly proportional to the state of mind of that individual. Therefore if an individual is stressed or unable to concentrate on his regular schedules even if he is very talented it proves inefficient for himself and the company he/she works for. Most people are reluctant to seeking help for problems that they cannot see! The slightest physical problem encourages them to go to a physician, but when they feel disturbed mentally or low or stressed, they are programmed to automatically ignore or suppress the issues or problems. Just like physical health problems, the sooner that a person seeks help for healing or sorting out their mental health problems or their state of mind the better the chances are of recover and the probability to avoid a dis-ease!!! Mental health according to WHO is a state of emotional and social well-being in which a person can fulfill his or her abilities, cope with normal stresses of life, work productively or fruitfully and be able to contribute to his or her community.
