*RE-ROUTING...* from a friends wall. Worth reading....

Have you noticed how Google Maps never yells, condemns or castigates you if you take the wrong turn? It never raises its voice and says, “You were supposed to go LEFT at the last crossing, you idiot! Now you’re going to have to go the LONG way around and it’s going to take you SO much more time, and you’re going to be late for your meeting! Learn to pay attention and listen to my instructions, OK???” IF it did that, chances are, a lot of us might stop using it. But Google simply Re-Routes and shows you the next best way to get there. *Its primary interest is in getting you to reach your goal, not in making you feel bad for having made a mistake.*

There’s a great lesson in this …
It’s tempting to our frustration and anger on those who have made a mistake, especially those we are close to & familiar with. But the wisest choice is to help in fixing the problem, not to blame.

Winter is at its peak and so is the winter food😋

✌Presenting Methi bajra khichdi one pot meal.
We have heard about this combination in other forms but this is something different.

All you need is:-
👉Soaked bajra for 6 hours,
👉Soaked yellow dal for half hour,
👉Methi leaves finally chopped,
👉Green peas and
Other vegetables may be added according to your choice and availability 😉

👩‍🍳Pressure cook the whole bajra and just before it gets fully cook add the yellow dal (this is done as the yellow dal gets cooked very fast)
Add methi leaves, and other vegetables too.
Add ginger chilli paste, salt
At last season it with ghee, jeera and hing.
Garnish it with coriander leaves

A perfect carb -protein combination meal which is super tasty and stomach filling.

Tips for Fasting
1- Maintain Hydration
2- 30 min walk or Yoga
3- Less consumption of fried food, packed foods

Now, everyone knows that we need vitamin C for immunity Right!!

So lets see today how much vitamin C is required in adult body and how it's is absorbed better.
On the other hand, we will also understand how much Vit C is present in one Amla🍈

🍈An Adult requires about 65 to 80mg of Vit C per day..
🍈The upper limit is 2000mg per day.
🍈Vit C is best absorbed empty stomach or 30 to 40 mins pre lunch or dinner.
🍈It's a water soluble vitamins, so it cannot be stored in your body.
We need to have the required amount on the daily bases, which is very easy if you have a balanced meal
🍈Vitamin C is sensitive to light, heat, and air and can be destroyed during food preparation, cooking or storage.

Coming to Amla, it is the richest source of Vit C. 100gms of amla contains approx 600 mg of Vit C.
So one pcs every day during the season is good to go.
