Each life is precious and every event of self harm or su***de brings so much to the surface… could be prevented? Is the biggest question. Yes, in many cases; in many ways. Such headlines in the newspapers are heavy on hearts for many of us🥲 what can we do? Let’s talk, let’s listen and let’s BE. Creating safe spaces to share and care, holding safe and non judgemental space at home, in the womb, at work places, at academic institutions, at hostels, in community is just one way to support disturbed individuals. The commonest need for every human on this planet is TO LOVE & TO BE LOVED. As a Gynecologist and Emotional Health Consultant, I fee there is huge unmet need in context to emotional well-being. Youth needs to be resilient and emotionally agile, NOT fragile. As I pray for this girl who lost her life, I appeal each mother - each family and each Organization to create and find a space space for HEART TO HEART Talk 🗣️ where no one is judges for who they are.
