HPE - Positive for Malignant Cells.

IHC - Thymoma
(The tumor cells express Pancytokeratin (AE1+3), p40, Tdt, CD99, GLUT.1 and CK19.)

Thymoma is a tumor of the thymus gland located in the anterior mediastinum, commonly seen in adults. It is often asymptomatic but is classically associated with myasthenia gravis. CT chest helps diagnosis. Surgical thymectomy is the main treatment, with radiotherapy or chemotherapy for advanced disease. Prognosis is generally good and depends mainly on the stage.
