Jani ( M.D.D.G.O.) with highly brilliant academic career started his practice in 1981 at Calico Dome , Relief Road , Ahmedabad. Jani Women’s Hospital was established in 1982 by Dr. Kamal R. Jani with all facilities in the centre of the city Navrangpura, Ahmedabad. Remaining as Assistant Professor for 5 years attached to Sheth K.M. d trained many students. He was the FIRST Gynecologist in all over GUJARAT to bring ULTRASONOGRAPHY MACHINE in 1986. He was the FIRST in all over GUJARAT to start Invasive Ultrasonography procedure for 1st and 2nd trimester Genetic Testing. He was the FIRST Gynecologist to start TRANSVAGINAL SONOGRAPHY ( TVS ) in all over GUJARAT in 1992. He was one of the very few Gynecologists in Ahmedabad who started doing Laparoscopy in 1992. He was FIRST in Ahmedabad who started the concept of Video Laparoscopy in 1995. He was one of the very few trained Gynecologist Microsurgeon in Gujarat by AIIMS , Delhi. In 1988 , He started Second Hospital with facilities of Minor operative procedures and Ultrasonography at Agrawal Chambers, near Town Hall , Ellisbridge , Ahmedabad. He is attached to Ahmedabad’s First two Corporate Hospitals : SAL HOSPITAL & STERLING HOSPITAL since 2002. With vast experience, Dr. Kamal R. Jani has managed many High Risk cases in Jani Women’s Hospital and Corporate Hospitals since 1982. In 2011, His Son Dr. Shashwat K. ( GYNEC ) joined him. Dr. Shashwat Jani worked at L.G. Municipal Hospital , Maninagar, Ahmedabad for 1 year. He got Diploma in Advanced Laparoscopy from France in 2012. He is Master Trainer for West Zone , in FOGSI ( Federation of Obs & Gynec Society of India ) & John Hopkins University Helping Mother’s Survive Project. Now he is working as Consultant Assistant Professor in Sheth V.S. Municipal Hospital, Ahmedabad since 2012. In 2012, Dr. Rajita Shashwat Jani M.S.( GYNEC ) joined Jani Women’s Hospital. She worked as Consultant at L.G. Municipal Hospital, Maninagar, Ahmedabad for 2 years. She got Diploma in Advanced Laparoscopy from France in 2012. Now she is working as Full time Consultant at Jani Women’s Hospital.
