Kids donβt just eat food, they build memories around it.β π½οΈβ¨
Thatβs why itβs so important how we present food to them.
Children form strong associations early on. If we make healthy food sound boring or like a punishment, thatβs exactly how theyβll see it.
Instead, letβs show them that healthy food is tasty, colourful, and nourishing. We donβt need to label unhealthy food as βjunkβ. Just help them understand the difference, and build a habit of choosing the better option most of the time.
Offer healthy alternatives.
Encourage them to eat when theyβre hungry and reach for the good stuff first.
Let eating healthy become a habit⦠not a rule they have to follow.
