Throwback to the best time we had organising "Readflix" event at Eka Club with all the reading enthusiasts. We witnessed an overwhelming love for books among all our participants. We held competitions of Readathon, Reader's Trivia, Meme Challenge, and Game of books. The meme game was strong and the library was filled with laughter. We talked about our favourite books, our favourite characters and about how books give us absolute joy. Looking forward to organising the next Readflix with and sooooon!

Day 1 of the collab, Milestone & Know-How Bucket.
Kids danced, drew, painted, meditated, played, told stories. We talked about a water that's brown and red. We talked about a tree that's blue. It's sad that in schools we are always spoon fed and never asked about how a horse looks like in our world. Rediscovering world with these lovelies❤️

Personality Development Workshop

It is always fun listening to kids speak. And it's even more amazing when they do it with confidence. The sessions conducted were -
1) Erupt Dance Session (to release the negative energy from the body)
2) Art Therapy Session (to put their thoughts onto the canvas in the form of art)
3) What I like about your picture! (helps to see the good in others)
4) Introducing Self
5) Speak your heart out (kids talked about their hobbies, favourite food/music/sports/movie)
6) Random acts of kindness (towards every being)
7) Dunk it game (leadership and teamwork)

Today was day 2 at this amazing space! We conducted Art Therapy Session and never have we ever seen a class so quite. The air was filled with concentration and a joy that can't be described in words. Blank canvases were filled with shapes, trees, their future homes, missiles, the Indian flag, and their teachers.😍

The traffic police officers at Pakwan crossroad, S.G. Highway, Ahmedabad are doing such a great and a noble deed. They are providing free and quality education to kids who cannot afford basic education at a school. Kids study from 10 AM to 2 PM and are provided breakfast, lunch, and fruits in the evening by the officers. Kids have been provided with all the educational books and materials too. They are also helping kids and their families with all the basic amenities required for day-to-day routine.
KHB is glad to collaborate with them as at KHB, we believe that with education we can create a better world. Today was our first day and it couldn't have been better.😍 Special thanks to Rinkal Ma'am and Nitin Sir for an amazing experience.

Know-How Bucket is collaborating with The Milestone Preschool for the "Digital Free, Book Friendly Movement" on 9th February 2019.
Ravina Sewani believes that "Knowledge and confidence walk hand in hand." And books are a doorway to the diverse knowledge this world has to offer. Let's teach our kids to read more and thereby create a peaceful society to live in.

KHB held a five hour long workshop for the students of classes 6th to 11th at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavans school, Nadiad. A total of 4 sessions were organized.

1) "Erupt Dance Session" for classes 6th to 9th
2) "Art Therapy Session" for classes 6th to 8th
3) "Leadership and Team Building Session" for classes 7th and 8th
4) "Personality Development Session" for class 11th

Erupt Dance Session helps to release negative energy from the body and physically exhausts the body. This session increases the level of endorphins (happy hormones) in the blood stream. After an erupt dance session, the mind is able to grasp new concepts easily and quickly.

Art Therapy Session unleashes the creative side of an individual. Students were asked to draw about anything and everything. Blank canvases weren't just filled with mountains, rivers, houses, or trees. Canvases projected ideas about saving our environment, about achieving peace, about simply being happy in life, about an underwater city, about superheroes saving the world. Students were full of great ideas and enthusiasm to learn something new. It's sad to see what our education system does to our young brains. It stops the creativity and shifts our focus on the "rat-race". Art Therapy Session leads to "self-discovery". Students of 7th and 8th classes were taught concepts regarding Leadership and Team Building. It's important to introduce students to such concepts at this age so that they become more open to new ideas in future.

Personality Development Session was specifically arranged for class 11th. Maximum emphasis was given on "Stress Management and Time Management" modules. Training given on such modules aids in stable mental health and increases concentration in every facet of life.

Students actively participated in activities such as pictionary, discover the leader, introduce your friend, time squared, score points and many more.

We hope to reach as many schools and colleges as possible and create a vast "open-space learning environment" through "Know-How Bucket".

Module 2: Interacting with a new person - CHECK

We meet a lot of people day in, day out. And so does everyone.
In a world where everyone is trying to thrive on instagram and facebook likes, trendy looks, luxurious lifestyle, we at KHB, try to shift our focus on touching people's hearts by knowing them better and opening ourselves honestly.

We believe not in "Superficial Happiness" which is immediate and short term but in "Enduring Happiness" which comes with time by creating bonds that matter for life. And this happiness will stay with us forever.

In the first part of Module 2 we focused on just a normal and simple conversation.
