💫 Which sugar do you prefer?

Refined white or brown sugar
Jaggery
Honey
Fruit sugar (fructose)

All are much similar in calories and ultimately have ill effects on health if consumed in excess. The only difference in unrefined sugar (jaggery, honey, fruit sugar) is that it is more natural and does not spike very fast in blood. They also provide some micronutrients.

While the added sugars in processed and packaged foods causes serious health effects. It may worsen diabetes, exzema, acne, obesity, high triglycerides, dental carries, stroke, cancer, fatty liver, inflammatory diseases.

✨ If you read the food labels and ingredients like high Corn fructose syrup, glucose, dextrose, fructose, maize syrup, avoid them. They are all similar sugars and sweeteners.

( excess sugar, fatty liver, diabetes, cholesterol, food labels, ingredients, jaggery, refined sugar,)
