A key shloka from the Bhagavad Gita that celebrates women is found in Chapter 10, Verse 34, where Lord Krishna associates divine qualities with femininity. An apt today on this women’s day
I am all-devouring death, and I am the generator of all things yet to be. Among women, I am fame (kīrtiḥ), prosperity (śrīḥ), speech (vāk), memory (smṛtiḥ), intelligence (medhā), steadfastness (dhṛtiḥ), and forgiveness (kṣamā).
