Every child follows their own unique path, but as parents and caregivers, recognizing the early signs of autism can be the first step toward providing the right support. 🧩✨
Autism isn’t a one-size-fits-all diagnosis. It often appears through subtle “clues” in how a child interacts with the world—whether it’s a preference for solo play, specific sensory seeking like jumping or spinning, or unique ways of communicating like echolalia.
What should you look for?
• Social Connections: Limited eye contact or not responding to their name.
• Speech & Language: Repeating phrases or using gestures more than words.
• Sensory Needs: Overwhelm from bright lights/loud sounds or seeking deep pressure.
Early intervention isn’t about “fixing” who they are—it’s about understanding their world so we can help them thrive in ours. If you notice these signs, remember that you aren’t alone.
Reaching out for professional guidance is an act of love. 💙
