Multi-speciality hospital established in March 2000,
provides 24 x 7 medical services as under -
The Hospital has outpatient department for all
specialties – Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and
Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, E.N.T.,
Ophthalmology, Skin, Dentistry, T.B. & Chest, Psychiatry,
Radio-diagnosis, Cardiology, Nephrology &
Neurosurgery. Well equipped physiotherapy department. Central Clinical Laboratory where Biochemical,
Pathological, Histopathological and Microbiological
investigations are carried out. Central Clinical
Laboratory stands 24th rank in “Quality Control
Programme” in the external “Quality Assessment
Scheme” conducted by Christian Medical College
Vellore. Radio Diagnosis Department has ultra sound facilities,
colour Doppler as well as the routine X – Rays & special
investigations like CT Scan, MRI, Mammography etc. Well equipped Medical & Surgical I.C.U. helps in
providing critical care for the seriously ill patients with
the help of Ventilator, Central Cardiac Monitors, Pulse
Oximeters, Central Oxygen and Suction system. The hospital also has N.I.C.U.- Intensive care unit for
new born which helps in decreasing infant mortality. is also available. Newly established Cardiac Cath-lab unit for
Angiography & Angioplasty. F.D.A. approved Blood Bank & modern Blood
Component Laboratory is functional. Hospital runs its own Medical Stores. With a view to
impart medical services to the rural people, Multi
Diagnotic Camps are regularly conducted in neighboring
villages. Urban Health Center & Rural Health Training Centre are
functional. Mobile Medical Unit provides day to day services at the

An outreach program was organised by the Indian Army, led by Brig. Sunil Kumar and Col. Abhishek Patwardhan, to explain the planning and ex*****on of Operation Sindoor, conducted in May 2025.

The presentation shed light on the shameful and heinous activities perpetrated by Pakistan in the Valley of Peace. These acts were met with a strong, precise, and determined response by the Indian Armed Forces, reflecting their unwavering courage and commitment to safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty.

Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation’s Medical College & Hospital celebrated its 22nd Foundation Day on Tuesday, 5th August 2025, marking a significant institutional milestone with dignity and enthusiasm.

The event was graced by Prof. Dr. Vivek Saoji, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune, as the Chief Guest. In his keynote address, Dr. Saoji highlighted the pioneering contributions of the Vikhe Patil family to medical education and healthcare in Maharashtra. He fondly recalled his early professional years spent with Late Dr. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil, acknowledging his visionary leadership and the values he instilled in the Pravara movement.

Dr. Saoji also commended the college administration and staff for achieving remarkable progress over the past two decades and extended his best wishes for future growth and success.

As part of the celebration, Teaching and Non-Teaching staff who completed 20 years of dedicated service were felicitated by the Chief Guest. This was followed by the recognition of meritorious staff and students for their outstanding contributions in academics and extracurricular activities.

The celebration not only honoured the institution’s legacy but also reaffirmed its continued commitment to academic excellence, ethical healthcare, and community service.

The event was graced by Hon’ble Trustees, Directors, Heads of Institutions, Heads of Departments, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff, and Students, making it a memorable and inspiring occasion for all.
