Osho says: "सही होश का मतलब बस होश ही नहीं है--क्योंकि होश परिश्रम बन सकता है--सही होश का मतलब होता है बिना परिश्रम के विश्रांत। कोई होश पैदा करने का प्रयास कर सकता है पर इस तरह तनाव हो सकता है, और तब तनाव सारे कार्य को नष्ट कर देगा। इसलिए ये दो बातें याद रखनी हैं : होश बिना परिश्रम के, बिना तनाव के।
होश विश्राम की खिलावट है। जब तुम कभी अपने शरीर में किसी तरह का तनाव महसूस करते हो, उस हिस्से को विश्रांत करो। यदि तुम्हारा सारा शरीर विश्रांत है, तुम्हारा होश तेज गति से विकसित होगा। बस देखो, बस परखो, प्रयास मत करो, जोर मत लगाओ; बिना प्रयास के होश। प्रारंभ में यह बड़ा विरोधाभासी लगेगा--अप्रयास और होश--पर एक बार तुम इस पर कार्य करने लगते हो, धीरे-धीरे दक्षता सीख जाते हो। यह दक्षता है। और एक बार तुम दक्षता सीख जाते हो, एक बार यदि तुम एक क्षण भी बिना तनाव के होश को जान लेते हो, तुम सही राह पर हो; तुम फिर वही व्यक्ति नहीं होओगे।
बस विश्रांत होओ और चीजों को वैसा ही होने दो जैसी वे हैं। बहुत निष्क्रिय होश--यह ध्यान का अर्थ है। यदि तुम कभी दृष्टा होना भूल जाते हो, पूरी तरह से ठीक है! जब तुम्हें याद आए, तुम फिर से देखो। जब तुम भूल जाते हो, तुम भूल जाते हो। यह विश्रांतता है, यह जीवन जैसा है उसे स्वीकारना है। तब इससे महान आनंद पैदा होते हैं। तुम कभी प्रयास नहीं करते और तुम्हें कभी अवरोध नहीं होता क्योंकि कुछ भी अवरोध पैदा नहीं कर सकता । "

मनोवैज्ञानिक किसी रोग का निदान कर सकते हैं, और इलाज भी कर सकते हैं, और व्यक्तित्व के किसी पहलू पर भी काम कर सकते हैं जो पहलू व्यक्ति को स्वयं को या किसी और को नुकसान पहुंचा रहा हो, किन्तु पूरे व्यक्तित्व को या कहें कि आपके मूलभूत स्वभाव को कोई मनोवैज्ञानिक पूरी तरह नहीं बदल सकता। बहुत से लोग इसी आशा के साथ मनोवैज्ञानिक के पास जाते हैं कि वो व्यक्ति के व्यक्तित्व को आमूल चूल बदल देंगे।

डॉक्टर साहब ने एक मामूली पढ़े लिखे ग्रामीण मरीज की पर्ची पर तीन दवाइयां लिखीं :

पहली गोली के सामने लिखा TDS और दूसरी गोली को लिखा BD और तीसरी लिखा SOS..!!
डाक्टर के यह समझाने से पहले, कि दवाई कैसे लेनी है, मरीज बोला
डाक्टर साहब समझ गये, अब जाऊं ?

हैरान डॉक्टर बोला :
क्या समझे, दवा कैसे लोगे ?
मरीज :
TDS माने तीन बखत
T तड़के D दुपहरे S सांझे।

BD माने भोरे और दुपहरे।

बहुत ज्यादा हैरान डाक्टर:
और SOS माने ?
ग्रामीण : जी..
S सोच O और S समझ के
यानी जरूरत पड़े तभी। ठीक! है ना डॉक्टर साहब.?

Bipolar Disorder is a mental health disorder wherein the brain suffers from *extreme mood & energy changes* which *hinders the individual's ability to function normally*. People with this disorder may experience a mood of *extreme happiness (mania) & then shift to a mood of extreme sadness (depression)*. Between these two moods one may also experience periods of neutral mood.

Symptoms of bipolar disorder can be severe. They can *affect areas of your life, such as work, school and relationships*. However with proper medical care & *therapy* an individual can *regain control over their lives*.

A *panic attack* is a *sudden episode of intense fear* that triggers severe physical reactions when there is *no real danger or apparent cause*. Panic attacks can be very frightening. When panic attacks occur, you might think you're *losing control, having a heart attack or even dying*.

Some of the *ways to deal with a panic attack* are mentioned above. If you sense that you're having a panic attack it is important you focus on your breath. Deep & even breaths help calm both the body & mind & prevent hyperventilation. Relaxing your tensed muscles can help reduce the stress hormones in our body. It's also usefull to acknowledge that we're experiencing a panic attack & remember that panic attacks always end. *Grounding Techniques* can also be used to help you refocus to the present moment. Finally *seeking professional help* for recurring panic attacks can make a great impact in helping reduce or completely eliminate them.

Although panic attacks aren't life-threatening, they can be frightening and *significantly affect the quality of life*. But *treatments such as CBT* can be very effective.

My Wife felt exhausted. She was irritable and grumpy, until one day, suddenly, she changed.

One day when I said to her:
- I'm going to have a few beers with friends.
She replied: Okay.

My son said to her:
- I'm doing poorly in all subjects in college.

My Wife replied:
- Okay, you will recover, and if you don't, you repeat the semester, but you pay the tuition.

My daughter said to her:
- I smashed the car.

My Wife replied:
- Okay, take it to the car shop & get it fixed.

All of us were worried to see these reactions coming from mom.

We suspected that she had gone to the doctor and was prescribed some pills called "I don't give a damn”.

We then proposed to do an "intervention" with my wife to remove her from any possible addiction she had towards some anti-tantrum medication.

But then She gathered us around her and explained:

"It took me a long time to realize that each person is responsible for their life. It took me years to discover that my anguish, anxiety, my depression, my courage, my insomnia & my stress, does not solve your problems but aggravates mine.

I am not responsible for the actions of anyone and it’s not my job to provide happiness.

Therefore, I came to the conclusion that my duty to myself is to remain calm and let each one of you solve what corresponds to you.

I have taken courses in yoga, meditation, miracles, human development, mental hygiene, vibration and neurolinguistic programming and in all of them, I found a common denominator.

I can only control myself, you have all the necessary resources to solve your own problems despite how hard they may be. My job is to PRAY for you, LOVE you, ENCOURAGE you, but it’s up to YOU to solve them and find your happiness.

I can only give you my advice if you ask me and it depends on you to follow it or not. There are consequences, good or bad, to your decisions and YOU have to live with them.”

Everyone at home was speechless.

From that day on, the family began to function better because everyone in the house knew exactly what it is that they needed to do!
