M**A is often seen as just a “party drug”… but its effects can go far beyond a single night.
In this case, a 22 year-old man with no past psychiatric history developed fearfulness, craving, and ideas of reference after 2 months of daily M**A use. Even after stopping, suspiciousness persisted, highlighting the risk of substance-induced psychosis.
This is a reminder that recreational use is not always harmless. The brain doesn’t forget so easily.
