Knee swollen?⚠️ Don’t just mask it with painkillers. Draining fluid may be required in few cases.

Common causes of fluid + swelling in the knee:
Infection / Septic Arthritis – fever + warmth = red flag. Needs urgent treatment, not delay.
Injury – ligament/meniscus tear, post-trauma bleed.
Inflammatory arthritis – RA, gout, pseudogout.
Osteoarthritis flare – wear & tear causing effusion.
Bursitis – fluid in the bursa around the joint.

Why fever + warmth matters:
