കോവിഡിനു മുമ്പും ശേഷവും എന്ന രീതിയിൽ ജീവിതത്തെ വിഭജിച്ച മഹാമാരിയെയും മറികടന്ന്, സാധാരണ അവസ്ഥയിലേക്ക് നാം എത്തിയ സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് വീണ്ടും കോവിഡ് രോഗബാധിതരുടെ എണ്ണം വർദ്ധിക്കുന്നതായ വാർത്തകൾ പുറത്ത് വരുന്നത്.

കേരളത്തിൻ്റെ പൊതുജനാരോഗ്യ രംഗത്ത്, ആയുർവേദം പ്രാധാന്യം അറിയിച്ച വേളയായിരുന്നു കോവിഡ് പ്രതിരോധം.

ആയുർ രക്ഷാ ക്ലിനിക്കുകളിലൂടെ നടത്തിയ ആ പ്രവർത്തനം സർക്കാർ ഡോക്യുമെൻ്റ് ചെയ്ത് നടത്തിയ ശാസ്ത്രീയ പഠനം ഫ്രോണ്ടിയർ എന്ന അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ശാസ്ത്ര ജേണലിൽ 15 ഒക്ടോബർ 2021ന് പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി.
പകർച്ച വ്യാധികളോടുള്ള പ്രതിരോധത്തിൽ, ആയുർവേദത്തിൻ്റെ സാധ്യതകളെ ഇനിയും ഉപയോഗപ്പെടുത്തേണ്ടുന്ന സാഹചര്യമാണ് നിലവിലുള്ളത്.
മുമ്പ് മഴക്കാലത്ത് മാത്രം വന്നിരുന്ന പകർച്ചപ്പനികൾ, ഇപ്പോൾ എല്ലാ സീസണിലുമെന്ന നിലയിലേക്ക് മാറി.

കൃത്യമായ രക്ത പരിശോധനങ്ങളോട് കൂടിത്തന്നെ പകർച്ചപ്പനികളെ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്ന രീതിയാണ് ഇപ്പോൾ ആയുർവേദ ചികിത്സകരും തുടർന്ന് വരുന്നത് .അതിനാൽ തന്നെ പകർച്ചപ്പനികൾക്ക് ആയുർവേദത്തെ സമീപിക്കുന്ന ധാരാളം പേരുണ്ട്. രോഗം മാറുന്നതിനൊപ്പം ആരോഗ്യം ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തുകയെന്നതും ആയുർവേദ ഔഷധങ്ങളുടെ
ഗുണമാണ്. അത് ആയുർവേദത്തിൻ്റെ അന്ത:സത്തയുമാണ്.
