The leaves,bark, roots, fruits and seeds are used extensively in the Ayurveda to treat different ailments.

Bael fruits are of dietary use and the fruit pulp is used to prepare delicacies like murabba, puddings and juice.

* विसर्ग काल (आरंभ)

* दोष स्थिति- दूषित

Present condition
Our physical body is the epitome of universe
As the outer world is facing rain, humidity, earth vapour in the monsoon, so as our body becomes.
I.e the digestive fire ( जठराग्नि) is weakened

Regimen 🧏

Do's 💁
* Use of पुरातन धान्य ( >=1 year old wheat, rice, barely etc)🌾🌾
( these are light to digest )

* Use of पुरातन मधु (>= 1 year old honey )🍯🍯
(it is योगवाही , it carries the properties of drugs added to it , balances all the दोष )

* Use of boiled and cooled water 💧
( Increases digestive power, Balances all the दोष, cleanses urinary bladder, detoxifies kidney, good for throat)

*Intake of foods rich in sour, salty taste and mixed with ghee 🥞🥣🥘
( Ghee and above tastes kindles digestive fire)

* Intake of light foods( like mung daal )🍲
( Easy to digest)

* Intake of buttermilk seasoned with ginger, pepper, salt 🥤
(Appetizer)

Don'ts 🙅
* Day sleep 🙇
* Heavy exercise/ exertion 🏃
* Excess exposure to sun ☀️
* Residing in damp area ❄️

( Because above activities make person physically more weak and vitiates दोष )

"शरीर आयास जनकं कर्म व्यायाम संज्ञितम् "
That which brings out stretching efforts in body- mind is yoga

What are its benefits ?

व्यायाम: स्थैर्यकरानाम, आरोग्यं च अंग लाघवम
योग / व्यायाम helps in stability of body and mind
It promotes the longevity by maintaining the health

कफ दो़ष accumulated during शिशिर ऋतु (winter season) is aggrevated in वसंत ऋतु
Which may lead to many forms of illness like fever, cough, cold, sinusitis, headache, nausea indigestion, loss of appetite etc
To avoid these Ayurveda teaches us to follow certain regimen in terms of diet and daily activities called as वसंत ऋतुचर्या

Timely food : prevents most of the lifestyle disorders

Much concern is always given to proper and balanced diet but what about the timing of food intake
Now a days breakfast is skipped, lunch is taken when it is almost evening. Dinner is at late night.

It is equally important to balance the schedule of food intake
Ayurvedic dietary guideline first include काले भोजन I.e intake of food at time.

Maintenance of health demands proper management of hunger and thirst at the right time.

Ideal time for breakfast : 8-9 am
Ideal time for lunch : 1-2 pm
Ideal time for evening snacks : 4-5 pm
Ideal time for dinner : 8-9 pm
Usually the time gap between the two meal should be 4 to 6 hours.

Following these principles will promote positive health of body and mind.
