Conjunctivitis(Pink eyes) -

Pink eye or conjunctivitis is an inflammation or infection of the transparent membrane (conjunctiva).
Pink eye is commonly caused by a bacterial or viral infection or an allergic reaction. It may affect one or both eyes.

Homoeopathic medicines:

1) Belladonna. 30-
eyes are swollen, red, dry and congested.

2) Euphresia. 30-
Redness and swelling with watery discharge all the time from eyes.

3) Argentum nit. 30-
copious mucopurulent eye discharges are present with sticky eyelids. The conjunctiva is markedly red and swollen.

4)Pulsatilla. 30-
mucopurulent discharges. eye discharge is thick and greenish color.

**Euphrasia eye drop-
2 drops 3 times in a day

Management of conjunctivitis:-

*Maintain personal hygiene.
*Avoid rubbing of the eyes.
*Washing eyes with cold water is recommended.
*Avoid coming in contact with *allergens if suffering from allergic conjunctivitis.
*If the sufferer uses contact lenses, it is advisable to avoid wearing them while having conjunctivitis.
