C V S Kalari Chikitsalayam, Sarangam, is a center that provide, authentic training in the martial art kalarippayattu and traditional ayurvedic treatment. The ages old traditional knowledge of kalrippayattu, is being imparted to the craving minds of present era, irrespective of age, gender and such all other discriminating factors. We train our students, through, very strict and diciplined processes,with a strong intension, to make them, better, responsible and healthy citizens. The essence of primitive โgurukula vidyabhyasaโ, is followed to a certain extent. Along with the physical training involving attack and defence, the student is being taught, the value of relationships, compassion and love, So that, the outcome will be a perfect individual for the society.
A student, who successfully completes the training will be certified. So far we have given training to 1000+ students, over the past 24 years.
Our treatment center was initially started as โsarngadharara ayurveda oushadhashalaโ, in Kozhikode, malabar region of kerala, in the year 1949.
