Chaman Vatika 'Gurukul' Organised a ‘Doctor’s Talk on Health Awareness’ on July 24, 2025

A special Doctors' Talk was organised at Chaman Vatika Girls School in collaboration with IMA Gulabi Pankh, Ambala City. The session aimed to educate young girls about important aspects of personal health and hygiene, and to encourage open conversations around topics that are often considered sensitive.

Eminent doctors including Dr. Prachi Gupta (Pediatric Dentist), Dr. Nidhi Jain (Pathologist), Dr. Nitika Sarwal (Anaesthesiologist), Dr. Surabhi Bansal (General Surgeon and Aesthetic Physician), Dr. Deepti Manocha (Eye Surgeon), Dr. Veni Bedi Mittal (Gynecologist), Dr. Poonam Jain (Pediatrician), and Dr. Jaspreet Agarwal (Eye Specialist) led the session with expertise and compassion. The discussion focused on awareness about the importance of wearing glasses and general eye care, maintaining proper dental hygiene and preventive care, as well as understanding menstrual hygiene and the significance of HPV vaccination. The doctors addressed these topics in a simple and relatable manner, helping students clear their doubts and feel more confident about managing their personal health.

Towards the end, Principal Mrs. Sonali Sharma expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the doctors for their time and valuable insights. She appreciated their efforts in empowering students with essential knowledge and creating a safe space for learning and discussion. The event was highly impactful and left a positive impression on the young minds, encouraging them to take charge of their health with awareness and confidence.
