MEMORY DRUM FOUR VARIABLE SPEED ELECTRICAL WITH MANUAL
• A memory drum is a piece of laboratory apparatus used to present stimuli in a controlled manner in memory experiments before the advent of computers. Items to be learnt appeared one at a time in the aperture of the drum as it was rotated, either by the experimenter or laterly by timed inputs from a motor.
• The Electronic Memory Drum is a very useful, versatile and accurate instrument. It can be used in most of the Learning, Memory and Forgetting Experiments like Serial Verbal Learning, Retro-active Inhibition. The present instrument (apparatus) operates on 230V 50Hz A.C. and has a removable/detachable drum. One stimulus each can be exposed to the subject at the desired speed (1,2,4,8) with the exposure time 1,2,4,8 seconds respectively. The maximum number of stimulus lists can be SIX(06). The Control Box(Unit) contains an Electric Motor and a FOUR(04) Speed Gear Box and Clutch Mechanism. There are two leavers. Each ON/OFF Switches and two Indicator Lights on the front panel of the Control Unit. Each ON/OFF Switch and Indicator Light is marked with ‘MOTOR’ and ‘LIGHT’ respectively.

HUMAN MAZE
Image 1: HUMAN MAZE LEARNING POINTED (ELECTRICAL)
• The apparatus is a square shape made of wood. It has 15 rows and 15 columns, i.e. 225 screws are fixed on the wood in the form of points which are connected with bulb and stylus . Bulb does not glow while going on right track but glows while going on wrong track by which error can be known.

Image 2: HUMAN MAZE LEARNING POINTED ELECTRICAL WITH RESET 6 DIGIT ERROR COUNTER
• The working of this apparatus is similar to Maze Learning Electrical (Pointed) but in this error can be known by Reset Error Counter along with the glowing of bulb. After every effort Error Counter is reset.

Image 3: HUMAN MAZE LEARNING ELECTRONIC WITH DIGITAL RESET ERROR COUNTER AND TIMER
• This apparatus is the most advanced with ultra modern technology. The tool operates on A.C. Mains. Subject places the stylus at the starting point of Maze Learning. The Digital Timer immediately starts recording time in seconds and its decimal parts. Whenever there is an error the Digital Error Counter automatically records one error in Digital Form. Thus, here in this instrument time and error both are recorded automatically. Both the Digital Timer and Digital Error Counter are Reset Type and have Four (04) LED chips as Display.
• The apparatuses mentioned above come with a Manual and Response Sheet respectively.

HAND STEADINESS TESTER ELECTRICAL WITH IMPULSE COUNTER ( ELECTRICAL SIMPLE ALSO AVAILABLE )
• This test examines the steadiness of the hand and the fingers.
• There is a box on one side of which there are some holes arranged systematically so that they proceed from the widest to the smallest. The subject takes an instrument called the stylus into his hand and inserts it completely and draws it out of these holes successively.
• Whenever the stylus touches the walls of the hole, the impulse counter would indicate an error.
• The Hand Steadiness Tester is also available without an impulse counter. In that case, whenever the stylus touches the walls of the hole, the light point would indicate an error.
• Comes with a manual.

GRIP DYNAMOMETER
• Grip strength is a measure of muscular strength or the maximum force/tension generated by one’s forearm muscles. It can be used as a screening tool for the measurement of upper body strength and overall strength.
• The purpose of using a grip dynamometer is to measure isometric strength of the hand and forearm muscles. The grip dynamometer can be adjusted for hand size and must be calibrated regularly for consistent results. Having clear protocols regarding technique in the administration of the test will also ensure reliability.
• The subject holds the dynamometer in the hand being tested, with the arm at right angles with the elbow by the side of the body. Adjusting the handle of the dynamometer as necessary, making sure that the base rests on the first metacarpal ( heel of the palm), while the handle rests on the middle of the four fingers. The subject then squeezes the grip dynamometer with maximum isometric effort for atleast 5 seconds. The subject will do several trials of the test, resting for 15 seconds between each test. The subject is required to not move any other part of the body and is encouraged to use maximum effort. The best result of each trial is the one that is recorded.
• Grip Dynamometer gives a reliable and simple measurement which can be used as a predictor of future health concerns. Its simplicity, cost-effectiveness and time efficiency makes the grip dynamometer a useful tool in any physical therapy clinic.

FINGER DEXTERITY MAZE APPARATUS
• Dexterity refers to the ability of a person to use the fingers, hands and arms to perform a task. The quality of performance in daily living skills,work-related functioning, and recreational activities is determined to a large degree by hand function and manual dexterity. The hand has to be able to undertake extremely fine and sensitive movements and must also be able to perform tasks requiring considerable force.
• Dexterity tests measure the accuracy of hand and finger movements under controlled conditions. They help physical therapists to develop rehabilitation plans for patients and to measure the effectiveness of their programs. They can help identify and evaluate certain forms of brain damage, identify neurologically based learning disabilities, and musculoskeletal disabilities.
• The apparatus consists of a wooden box containing 100 holes. There are pins kept separately to be placed in these holes. While keeping the apparatus on the right side of the subject, he/she is asked to insert pins in the holes with right hand. Time taken and errors committed are noted. Same procedure is repeated with left hand keeping the instrument to the left hand side of the subject.
