Our little artists had an amazing time exploring colors, textures, and endless imagination during our Art & Craft sessions this summer! 🖌️🌈

From paper collages and finger painting to clay modeling and nature art — every activity was designed to boost fine motor skills, attention, and self-expression. 💡💬

Here’s a sneak peek into the magic they created with their own hands. 👐❤️

Why Accessibility Matters?

💬 Equal Participation: Every individual deserves the right to participate fully in social, educational, and professional settings. Accessibility ensures that individuals with speech and hearing impairments can engage in conversations, meetings, and events without feeling excluded or marginalised.

💬Empowerment: Accessible communication empowers individuals to express themselves freely and confidently. Whether through sign language interpretation, captioning, or assistive technologies, these tools provide vital support in conveying thoughts, ideas, and emotions.

💬 Diverse Perspectives: When we embrace accessibility, we welcome diverse perspectives and enrich our collective dialogue. By amplifying the voices of individuals with speech and hearing impairments, we gain valuable insights and foster a culture of inclusivity and respect.

Hypersensitivity to Visual Stimuli:
Some individuals with autism experience hypersensitivity to visual stimuli, finding bright lights and intricate patterns overwhelming. Simple tasks in visually busy environments become challenging, leading to sensory overload. Creating sensory-friendly spaces with dimmer lighting and minimal visual clutter can alleviate discomfort and promote engagement.

Hyposensitivity to Visual Stimuli:
Conversely, others may have hyposensitivity, exhibiting a reduced response to visual input. They may seek out intense visual stimulation and struggle with tasks like recognizing facial expressions. Providing sensory accommodations and engaging in visual processing therapy can help improve sensitivity and perception skills.
