In our search for happiness, we essentially have two options—modify the entire world so that everything turns out exactly the way we want it or modify our mind so that we are able to be happy, content and peaceful, regardless of what happens in the external world. We have very little control over our external world. The only hope for happiness lies in controlling the inner world. Meditation is a key element in this process.

The IAM Meditation Technique, created by Amma, is a simple yet powerful practice designed to bring mental clarity, emotional balance, and physical relaxation. Amrita Hospitals, Faridabad recently hosted a rejuvenating session of the Integrated Amrita Meditation Technique® (IAM) for the teaching staff of the Nursing and Medical Colleges. This session, led by Br. Mokshamrita (certified IAM instructor) from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, offered participants a chance to pause, reflect, and reconnect with their inner peace.

IAM, developed under the guidance of Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma), is a simple yet profound blend of gentle yogic stretches, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques. Delighted to share insights from our recent IAM Online session, where despite their varied backgrounds and geographical distances, the participants converged in the virtual space for an enriching IAM Meditation Training experience.

Among the diverse participants were an engineer from Telangana, a university faculty member based in Bangalore, and a corporate business professional representing Mumbai, an investment director from Spain, retired officers from Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra, and a student from Pune, a Health care worker from Amsterdam, Netherlands, a Civil Engineer from Kerala and a person from Victoria , Australia .— United by a shared quest for inner peace and self-discovery, they embarked on a transformative journey through IAM Meditation.

In the session, we delved into the profound importance of IAM practices includes meditation and yoga in today's fast-paced world. We were blessed to host participants from around the world including France, New Mexico, Sweden, Russia, Luxembourg, Belgium, Portugal, Canada, Switzerland, and Italy for a transformative IAM20 meditation workshop led by certified IAM instructors. Thank you to our wonderful team for providing translations in participants' mother tongues, making the workshop even more accessible and heartfelt.
