Rotary Amritsar West & Medicaid Hospital
take initiative for the cause of Flood Victims.
A meeting of Rotarians was held under the chair of IPDG Dr PS Grover. He explained the purpose of meeting to involve Amritsar Rotarians for effective action plan.
Dr Shallu Aggarwal Senior Medical and Nodal Officer Ajnala addressed and explained the root level situation of the flood affected areas.
DGE Anil Singhal assured to put in all efforts to redress the sufferers.
Dr Ravneet Grover MD Medicaid Hospital handed over cartons containing medicines, disposables, dressing material, Sanitary napkins, footwear etc. worth Rs one lakh.
Dr Jaspreet Grover, Dapinder Pal Rotary President, Sawan Arora Secretary, Vijay Bhasin stressed the need to adopt flood affected villages for at least one year for rehabilitation.
Pushpinder Singh, Ashwani Awasthi, Col KJS Aneja, Dr Ruchika Grover, Balvinder and many more Rotarians were present and expressed their views.
Vote of thanks was passed for the donors from abroad viz Dr Paul Duggal, Dr Janmeet, Dr Kuljit.
