આપણી આસપાસ ઘણા સ્થળોએ આ પ્રકારના પાઉચ અથવા પડીકીઓ "સાંધાના દુઃખાવા માટેની દેશી દવાઓ" કે "ચિકનગુનિયાની અકસીર દવા"ના નામે દ્વારા વેચાય છે. ગુજરાત સરકારના ફૂડ એન્ડ ડ્રગ કંટ્રોલ વિભાગ (FDCA) ગાંધીનગરને જાણવા મળ્યું છે કે આ પ્રકારની પડીકીઓમાં એલોપથી દવાઓ જેમકે દુખાવાશામક દવાઓ અને સ્ટીરોઇડ પ્રકારની દવાઓ વ્યાપક પ્રમાણમાં પાઉડર બનાવીને ભેળવવામાં આવે છે જે આરોગ્ય માટે જોખમી સાબિત થઈ શકે છે.આથી કોઈપણ બીમારીઓ માટે આ પ્રકારની ખુલ્લેઆમ વેચાતી બિન આરોગ્યપ્રદ દવાઓનો ઉપયોગ ટાળવો જોઈએ અને ડોકટરની સલાહ મુજબ જ બીમારીની સારવાર લેવી જોઈએ.
Beware of using such packets or pouches being sold at various places on the name of " Ayurvedic medicines for joint pain " or " Cure for chikungunya arthritis".
Food and drug control administration (FDCA) Gandhinagar of Govt. Of Gujarat has found that such pouches contain mixture of drugs like steroids and painkillers in inappropriate manner which may harm one's health.
So, it's advisable to consult a doctor and get the proper treatment for the ailments rather than using such loosely sold so called "medicines" .
