continued as post 2.....even while showing probably only a third of the story he has envisioned.
.. almost all major characters are well constructed and were given ample scope and an arc....( except for Deepika, probably we see more of her past in part 2

First half set the world of Kasi & Complex 2898 AD beautifully, it isn't slow by any means, it does justice in explaining everything to us visually. Repeat viewing is sure to surprise us with well hidden easter eggs.

Second half shows the world of Shambhala as a truly diverse and global family fighting the good fight and hoping for the prophecy to come true. It sets up the rise of our hero with a fantastic climax that paves the story for part 2.

Goosebumps guaranteed.

We all were in awe while watching
Avatar/ Madmax / Dune /LOTR .....

we have our own KALKI 2898 AD to be proud of now.

P.S : This movie is not for u if u want songs, mass dialogues and "entertainment comedy". Kindly stay away.

Kudos to Mr Nag Ashwin & his team for making this project possible...Iam now his fan.

Firstly the thought of blending our mythology into sci fi in a futuristic Kasi setting as the last city on earth is in itself mind blowing...so the premise in itself has created the buzz...which we could relate to.

Movie succeeds in engaging our present generation in a tale of mythology piquing our interest in it . I must say the director has cracked the code of Indian Super heroes with this one.

It shows the consequences of the way we pollute our world and plunder the environment in a non preachy and an almost believable dystopian future .

Casting is pitch perfect... surprise cameos are fun. Everyone gave their best. The use of actors own voices for dubbing was a smart choice...it helps to make it more natural.( except for the voice of Shri Krishna...it was a terrific voice casting choice by the way)

Prabhas acts within himself... giving space to the larger story at hand. His screen presence is amazing. He is the only hero who makes his role to be believable as a gentle soul , funny - lazy guy and a fierce warrior all at the same time.

Kamal sir and his voice chews up the screen in what little time he is shown...he makes a menacing "Uttama Villain"

Amitabh sir makes himself believable as a 8 foot old angry warrior...his presence and his character are most etched of all.

Deepika emotes well. Shobhana and Rajendra prasad roles were impactful.

Cinematography, production designs are top notch and it shows as we are literally thrown into the world of Future Kasi and Shambhala. Movie was a bit dark... but that must be the intent of showing the "darkness" rising.

Action sequences are excellent, creative & believable... VFX too is good most of the time. BU-JZ-1 (bujji) is super fun.

BGM was terrific, especially the Mahabharat war scenes... songs are hit & miss.. something better could have been done.

Story & screenplay was excellent, dialogues could have been better though...i was actually surprised how well Nag Ashwin could blend all the ideas so well( also engaging in some fan service moments without feeling they are oddly placed).... continued in post 2

Team India is the Undefeated T20 champion team for the year 2024

We have won the T20 world cup from the brinks of defeat...the elusive ICC trophy attained and the horrors of 2023 world cup finals tamed....

A wonderful well-deserved final game...a fitting farewell for Dravid and his amazing support staff

For all practical purposes it was a game that SA should have won easily with 1-2 overs to spare with Klaasen and Miller at the crease... Bumrah, Arshdeep and Bumrah bowled beautifully and brought the game back....and what a catch under pressure by SKY... unbelievable

Rohit Sharma a well deserved ICC trophy with a trail blazing run as an opener

Virat Kohli a man for the finals...a fitting send off from T20

Rishabh Pant excellent glove work and an amazing come back into the team from a near death accident

SKY Mr 360 ...kept the tempo of scorecard going whatever the situation was

Shivam Dube... a man for the future got a good learning experience with valuable runs at the end of innings

Hardik Pandya...Mr Vindicated after a trail by fire for the past few months...came out shining

Axar Patel...our trump card swiss army knife player of the tournament

Ravindra Jadeja... always dependable for some crucial contributions

Arshdeep Singh a great support to JB with a coming of age tournament for him

Kuldeep Yadav his wrist spin and guile flummoxed quite a few batsman

Jusprit Bumrah... the best ever Indian bowler probably of all time...he delivered at the crunch every time...he was consistently exceptional

Everyone contributed in The Winning 11

we always had the batting riches to win matches but this tournament...

We had 3 all rounders playing in the 11
We batted with an attacking intent inspite of situations
We had a bowling team that could win matches on their own

Well done. Team India.
Last 12 months were the peak of Indian cricket .
Thank you

H(ear)...H(ear)...!!!

Females often attend Plastic surgery OP with complaints from ear piercings...which could be

elongated/ stretched ear holes

split/cut ear hole by accident

or

keloid/swelling from old ear hole piercing (usually second hole, which is place higher up on the ear)

With Plastic Surgery... we can recreate the original shape of ear lobe with minimal scarring and you can continue wearing ur ear rings too !!!

Of all the gruesome injuries i see in my plastic surgery practice...it is for the burns patient that i feel the most ... especially paediatric burns.

It needs a multidisciplinary approach and inter departmental coordination to successfully treat and discharge a patient. Iam fortunate to have that support from Paediatrics, Anesthesia-ICU, Nutrition & Physiotherapy departments.

It may be the most horrific injuries but at the same time it can also be the most rewarding when taken up as a challenge
..they need

critical resuscitation,
emergency burns surgery,
sterile wound dressings,
and much more

using latest treatment methods we can try to accelerate the entire healing process painlessly

when the kid is healed and comes to ur OP with a smile along with their grateful parents very few things in life come close to beat that feeling.

Thankful to all the parents who understood the lengthy process of burns management and showed their support.

There are some patients that come once in a while that test your academic knowledge, clinical skills and judgement capabilities all at once.

This is one such case. Mr A, underwent CABG and had the most dreaded complications of all...sternal wound dehiscence. The wound of chest cavity exposing ribs.

To pile on the misery, the recon attempt failed due to resistant infection persisting deep in chest cavity. ( I must confess it was a brave attempt at recon, and i would have done the same thing, if i was his surgeon at that time)

He was referred to me...and NOW i had to decide what to do and how to proceed further...As a surgeon i decided the best treatment is the one that avoids further surgery for him, considering his age and other factors.

After countless dressings, wound irrigations, bedside wound closure, VAC application....and a course of Nitrofurantoin (it was the only sensitive antibiotic for him).......finally the wound relented...and healed off.

It was a miracle and it wouldnt have happened to a nicer gentleman.
