Event: *TB MUKHT PANCHAYAT FELICITATION UNDER NTEP PROGRAM*

In a feat of achievement under NTEP program an event was organised by District Tuberculosis Officer Anantnag/Kulgam Dr Umer Yaseen with Chief MEDICAL Officer Kulgam Dr Shoukat parray at Mini Secretariat Kulgam under the Chairmanship of Worthy Deputy Commissioner Kulgam Mr Ather Amir Ul shafi khan (IAS) to honor panchayats for achieving TB-free status under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP). The event saw the presence of Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Ms Nazia Hassan, all Block Development Officers (BDOs)/verification team members/Health Deptt./ NTEP staff.
Worthy Deputy Commissioner Kulgam Mr Ather Amir Ul shafi khan (IAS) felicitates the Block Development Officers/verification team members/Health staff for achieving the status of TB Mukht Panchayats in which 167 panchayat's out of 178 were declared TB FREE for the year.
Deputy commissioner Kulgam Mr Ather Amir Ul Shafi Khan (IAS) lauds Health Deptt for its role in achieving TB-free status across the Panchayats and directed all to work together for achieving the goal of TB MUKHT BHARAT.
The recognized panchayats were awarded certificates and mementos for their efforts in the ‘TB Mukt Panchayat’ initiative.
The event highlighted the commitment to public health and the importance of continued efforts to prevent TB by ensuring that all panchayats in Kulgam can work towards being recognised as TB-free Panchayats.
Finally the event ends with vote of thanks by the Chief Medical Officer Kulgam Dr shoukat parray to all the participants.

World TB day was celebrated in District Anantnag/Kulgam on 24 March 2025 with the theme *“ YES ! We can End TB Commit Invest Deliver*
The mega event took place at PHC AKURA Anantnag where CMO ANANTNAG/KULGAM with all the BMO'S/MS and principal NURSING School AKURA participated/ private practitioners, civil society members, , prominent personalities, Students of AMT Nursing school participated besides NTEP staff & DTC staff.
_The event was chaired by CMO Anantnag/Kulgam and Incharge District Tuberculosis Officer Anantnag/Kulgam.
The celebration started with the rally within the vicinity headed by CMO Anantnag/Kulgam and all BMO'S/MS of Anantnag/kulgam and principal NURSING School Akura raising slogans of “ TB HAAREGA DESH JEETAGA “ and “ YES WE CAN END TB” .
_Nursing Students delivered their presentations on NTEP and its achievements in district Anantnag. _
CMO ANANTNAG/KULGAM were facilitated by incharge DTO Anantnag/Kulgam and Several officials related to different institutions were facilitated for their contribution to the cause.

While Interacting With The Patients, Dr. Umer Laid Keen Emphasis On Availing Every Mainstay And Fringe Benefits Within The Ambit Of N.T.E.P.

In The Said Meeting, Dr. Umar Urged The Patient's To Consume A.T.T. Medicine Appropriately, Maintain Persistent Cleanliness, Observe Cough Etiquettes & Undergo Follow Up Tests At Scheduled Intervals.

The Patient-Provider Meeting Finally Culminated After A Brief Q&A Session With The Attendees.

An emotional farewell was given to Dr Syed Faheem Aalam (DTO ANANTNAG/KULGAM) on his superannuation whole heartedly by all the HEALTH STAFF Of CMO OFFICE/DTC ANANTNAG.
Dr syed Faheem Aalam (DTO ANG/KULGAM) devoted his service to the Health Department and put in all the efforts for achieving the feat of making the District TB Free and proud at national level.He was appreciated & praised for reaching Superannuation and achieving such feat (TB FREE ANG) by all the higher officials Chief Medical Officer Ang/DHO Anantnag/BMO & Other dignitaries along with the staff personnel of CMO Office/DTC and thank him for the efforts and the appreciable service to the Department.....

EVENT: TB FORUM/TB COMORBIDITY/SNC SURVEY MEETING UNDER THE CHAIRMANSHIP OF WORTHY DEPUTY COMMISSIONER ANG.

A meeting of TB forum/TB comorbidity & SNC SURVEY of District Anantnag/Kulgam was held today ON 16-12-2022 at DC Office Ang. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy commissioner Anantnag, Dr Basharat Qayoom (IAS).The other dignitaries who attended the meeting was STO Kashmir Dr Adfar Yaseen,CMO Anantnag Dr MY Zagoo,CMO Kulgam Dr Mohd Rafiq,All Medical Superintendent & Block Medical Officers of District Ang/kulgam/Medical Superintendent GMC Ang Dr Mohd Iqbal Sofi, Chest Specialist GMC Ang Dr Sheikh Tariq, WHO consultant Dr Praveen, SNC Team Members, Representatives from Civil Society, NGO, Media Fraternity and TB Patients. A PowerPoint Presentation was given by DTO Ang Dr Syed Faheem Alam about the performance and various activities about NTEP Programme of District Anantnag and Kulgam. Deputy Commissioner Ang interacted with the patients and other persons from Civil Society/ NGOs and praised the District TB officer & the NTEP Staff for the work they are doing in the program and provide certain directions to all the stake holders present in the meeting.
