One of our all-time favorites is Arnica oil!
Arnica Montana Oil is derived from its namesake plant in North America. It has been used for centuries as a dilutable base for many essential oils in order to be carried onto the skin. This is due to Arnica oil’s tremendous reputation as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic - perfect to recover from muscle spasms, aches and pain. Arnica is a genus of perennial herbs belonging to the sunflower family (Asteraceae). The oil is an extract of the arnica plant that grows in the mountain regions.

The history of arnica has its roots all the way back in the 16th century, when it was a popular folk remedy in many locations, including North America, Germany, and Russia. Back then, it was known to be used for treating blunt injuries, bruises, skin lesions, and inflammations. The renowned Shakespeare of Germany, Goethe, also appreciated the benefits of arnica. It is said that he regularly brewed arnica tea during his recovery from a heart attack. North American indigenous tribes prepared tea from arnica roots to ease back pains.

Arnica oil stimulates the production of white blood cells which are vital to the effectiveness of your body’s immune system. They are the front line of defence against disease and infection, working to swarm and neutralise any potential threats to your health.

Arnica’s natural soothing properties help the skin heal whilst keeping it hydrated and protected from future breakouts. The oil is rich in skin-friendly nutrients that can help improve the appearance of scars and stretch marks along with improving overall skin appearance. Arnica oil’s topical application is also known to support cartilage and joint function. It is thus evident that arnica is a skincare all-star!

Dear Friends, please give a warm welcome to Cupping Therapy!

Cupping is an ancient healing method and a type of alternative therapy that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. This suction is thought to improve the flow of energy in the body and facilitate healing. It expands and breaks open tiny blood vessels (capillaries) under your skin. Your body replenishes the cupped areas with healthier blood flow and stimulates proper and normal healing at a cellular level.
One of the oldest medical texts to mention cupping therapy is Eber’s papyrus (1550 B.C.) from Ancient Egypt, though cupping is a part of many ancient healing systems, including Chinese, Unani, traditional Korean, and Tibetan. Greek physician Hippocrates, often referred to as the “father” of medicine, even compiled descriptions of cupping techniques.
Cupping increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. This may relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair. It may also help form new connective tissues and create new blood vessels in the tissue. Cupping may remove toxins by stimulating the immune response, both locally and systemically. It may also eliminate uric acid, a natural waste product from the digestion of certain foods. Uric acid buildup can lead to high levels of acidity in the blood and urine. Cupping may also have a positive effect on the lymphatic system, which is partially responsible for eliminating your body’s waste. When the flow of lymph is interrupted, it can cause fluid buildup and prevent the body from properly eliminating toxins. Lymphatic drainage massage is one solution to this issue. Similarly, cupping may help increase the flow of lymph and prevent fluid buildup.

Anti-cellulite massage
Cellulite is a fatty tissue defect that consists of edema-fibrocystic sclerosis of the subcutaneous tissue, it is also known as orange-peel skin due to its texture. It manifests itself in an uneven and folded surface of the skin around the thighs, knees, hips, buttocks and shoulders, as well as nodules and lumps. On one hand, cellulite can occur due to unhealthy diet and lack of exercise or walking which can lead to weakening muscle tone, and on the other, abnormal circulation or hormonal disorders or genetic factor. Cellulite is more common with females due to the different structure of connecting tissues and therefore different distribution of fat.
Anti-cellulite massage improves the blood circulation supply to the subcutaneous fat layer, stimulates the lymphatic system and increases skin firmness - the skin is stimulated to produce elastin and collagen thanks to which it becomes firmer and visibly rejuvenated. Dynamic movements have a modeling effect. Anti-cellulite massage also has pro-health effects because it supports removal of toxins and other metabolic products. The cells are oxygenated which generally strengthens the circulatory and lymphatic system. Anti-cellulite massage also improves immune system which may become deficient after prolonged periods of stress or due to hormonal disorders/dysfunctions.
Properly performed anti-cellulite massage can cause a degree of discomfort but it shouldn't be painful or bruised. We value individual approach the most so the intensity of the maneuvers will be adapted to your comfortable degree.
Contradictions: high fever, cancer, tuberculosis, arthritis, skin disorders (eczema, allergies, varicose veins).

Lymphatic drainage massage is a form of gentle medical massage that encourages the drainage of lymph nodes and movement of lymph fluids around the body. Lymphatic system removes waste and toxins from body tissues. Some health conditions can cause lymph fluid to build up and it can not drain effectively.
Lymphatic system plays a key role in body's immune defenses. Lymphatic fluid flows through lymph vessels which connect lymph nodes. As it passes through the lymph nodes, white blood cells trap and destroy harmful particles (such as bacteria).
Like blood in circulatory system, lymphatic fluid is always moving. If it stops, swelling occur as lymph fluids build up. Manual lymphatic drainage massage (MLD) is designed to detoxify your body with just the right combination of techniques and level of pressure, give your body a "reboot" so it can work more efficiently.
