Anti-cellulite massage
Cellulite is a fatty tissue defect that consists of edema-fibrocystic sclerosis of the subcutaneous tissue, it is also known as orange-peel skin due to its texture. It manifests itself in an uneven and folded surface of the skin around the thighs, knees, hips, buttocks and shoulders, as well as nodules and lumps. On one hand, cellulite can occur due to unhealthy diet and lack of exercise or walking which can lead to weakening muscle tone, and on the other, abnormal circulation or hormonal disorders or genetic factor. Cellulite is more common with females due to the different structure of connecting tissues and therefore different distribution of fat.
Anti-cellulite massage improves the blood circulation supply to the subcutaneous fat layer, stimulates the lymphatic system and increases skin firmness - the skin is stimulated to produce elastin and collagen thanks to which it becomes firmer and visibly rejuvenated. Dynamic movements have a modeling effect. Anti-cellulite massage also has pro-health effects because it supports removal of toxins and other metabolic products. The cells are oxygenated which generally strengthens the circulatory and lymphatic system. Anti-cellulite massage also improves immune system which may become deficient after prolonged periods of stress or due to hormonal disorders/dysfunctions.
Properly performed anti-cellulite massage can cause a degree of discomfort but it shouldn't be painful or bruised. We value individual approach the most so the intensity of the maneuvers will be adapted to your comfortable degree.
Contradictions: high fever, cancer, tuberculosis, arthritis, skin disorders (eczema, allergies, varicose veins).
