We live in a competitive world that sometimes moves faster than we can keep up. Many of us kill ourselves for a job that can replace us in weeks. The constant ‘fight or flight mode’ that we are in leads to the onset of several stress related disorders. Yoga is a holistic approach to general well-being of the Physical, Physiological and Psychological aspects of the human body.
The daily tedium can sometimes be overwhelming and in this rat race we forget to stay grounded, forget to look within before we look around. We get so consumed in the chaos and getting ahead that we forget to find the happiness that is within. Yoga helps to slow things down just for a little while, be in the moment and enjoy the company of your own self.
Yoga has evolved over the years and is a practice that is accepting of all ages, genders, abilities & limitations. Yoga began as a practice for those who are on the path to nirvana, the essence of it has not changed; to look inwards to find our balance. There is a Yoga for everyone.
