*तिळगूळ खा, गोड गोड बोला.*

मकरसंक्रांत जवळ आली आहे. हा सण जानेवारी महिन्यात तर हिंदू पंचांगाप्रमाणे पौष महिन्यात ,जेव्हा सुर्य उत्तरायणात असतो आणि त्याचा मकर राशीत प्रवेश होतो, तेव्हा साजरा केला जातो.
या दिवशी दिल्या जाणाऱ्या तीळ- गुळाला आरोग्याच्या दृष्टीनेही तेवढेच महत्व आहे.

*तीळ*- थंड वातावरणापासून शरीराचे रक्षण व्हावे यासाठी तिळगूळ खाल्ले जातात.
तिळामध्ये calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, selenium, vit.B आणि तंतुमय पदार्थ आढळतात.
त्याचबरोबर mono & polyunsaturated fats तिळामध्ये आहेत.
तसेच तीळ तेलातील sesamol & sesamin हे काही विशेष घटक उत्तम antioxidants आहेत.
तिळा मधिल oleic acid रक्तातील cholesterol कमी करायला मदत करते.

In the case of fitness resolutions, you should be slow & steady rather than expecting a whole new version of yourself overnight.

Establish small & specific monthly benchmarks to maintain your motivation throughout the year.
😇 *Choose a Workout you enjoy*
Choose a workout that you enjoy, rather than opting for something that promises fast results.
Forcing yourself to do a workout/program that you aren't into, will find you making any excuse not to do it.
⏲️ *Forget what the scale says*
Factors like water retention and your menstrual cycle can make your weight fluctuate. So, instead of measuring your bady weight, get measurements.

World breastfeeding week is a global campaign to encourage breastfeeding and improve the health of babies and mothers.

🤱There should be exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months with a gradual introduction of top food in the second six months and ongoing breastfeeding for two years or beyond.
🤱Initiation of breastfeeding within one hour of birth is important.
Colostrum - yellowish Orange fluid is packed with essential nutrients should be given to the baby in the initial days.
🤱Breastfeeding not only nurture mother-infant bond but also prevents infection and promote health and development of infant.
It boost the immune system of infants and lowers risk of developing infections like respiratory tract infections, diabetes, allergic diseases, and childhood leukaemia.

80% road accidents occur with driver's fault.
Prevention may be the best option by developing a safety plan and being ready to use it.
Driving is not all about competition, its all about safety!

Some of the most common traffic rules that every driver should follow:
🚌Do not drink & drive.
🚕 Wear your seatbelt while driving a car.
🛵 Wear a helmet while riding a two-wheeler.
📱Do not use a mobile phone while riding.
🚕Always drive at a safe speed & within the speed limit.

Healthy weight is one that can be comfortably maintained with Normal healthy eating and regular physical activity and is absent of medical problems.

Maintaining a healthy weight lowers the risk of heart disease ,stroke ,diabetes and high blood pressure, it can also lower the risk of many different cancers.
Some tips to keep a healthy weight
1. exercise often
2. eat a healthy breakfast daily

4. eat responsibly and mindfully
5. Plan your meals ahead of time

BMI is a common tool for deciding an appropriate weight.
BMI is body mass index.
BMI= kg / m2
BMI =less than 18.5 is underweight range
BMI=18.5 to 24.9 is normal or healthy weight range
BMI=25 to 29.9 is overweight range
BMI=30.0 or more is obese range
