Today one 4yr child came with abdominal colicky pain sever agonising and crying, parents gave history of motion not passed since yesterday..
On clinical examination
Fever 100.2f
P-128
RR-22
Rs-clear
Cvs-s1s2 normal with slightly tachy
Cns -nad
P/A- bowel sounds are present generalised tenderness but motion not passed,
My clinical understanding simple colic with constipation..
Now as per homeopathic repertory I got nux vomica in following rubric
-Abdomen pain constipation during
Prescribed nux vomica 30 half hrly .
Within 45mins of starting medicine patient passed motion and fever subsided by 1.5hrs...
After 6hrs child playing without any complaints and second time motion passed without any discomfort...
