Dysmenorrhea or Menstrual cramps is termed as a pain during menstruation specifically in Lower Abdomen or Pelvic region caused due to Uterine Contractions often accompanied with backache, diarrhea, headache, nausea, vomiting, fatigue etc.

Pain typically lasts for 12 to 72 hours. It is one of the commonest gynaecological disorder.
